Sorry for a huge delay in my blog. Setting up a translation and interpretation freelance certainly took up most of my time. That being said, I enjoyed my time in Dallas tremendously. In November Jason and I bumped into Oktoberfest in downtown Plano as I was showing him around my neighborhood farm and Downtown Plano.
It was especially festive in Downtown Plano that day.
Those freshly-made yogurts from my neighborhood went fast.
Lady with a big hammer
One of my favorite past-times….
This used to be the main-street Plano, now it’s all blocked-off for the festival.
A stage was set up in a small plaza next to the old-town street.
The guitarist carried a huge fancy guitar.
The entire band.
Pony for picture, anyone?
Next we went to the Downtown fresh market and ordered the original Dr. Pepper made with cane sugar.
Always a Dr. Pepper fan.
They sell pollen to help those with pollen allergies. Apparently they work pretty well…
This chocolate shop in Downtown is new, looks very fancy.
You can go to the counter and get some sample tasting.
Sausage until you taste it.
Halloween special: a skull and a baby’s head.
