A short walk through the forest behind Fanyi Cave took us to a rather quiet and small temple on the island.
The temple also housed a “cave”, Shancai Cave, where you pray for wealth.
Monk’s after prayer work.
Where you toss coins into the holes.
Take out your cash and touch the relief, in hope it will multiply.
Back of the building.
We took a little path off the road to the bus station, found some farms.
This was suppose to be nunnery, but it looked very much closed.
Took a bus to the beach, where another famous temple, Chaoyin Cave is located.
Still under renovation.
Huge incense burner.
Bukenqu Guanyin Yard.
The temple sits right next to the Chaoyin Cave (yes, this is the cave).
Entering the yard.
